Grome Home

As a club project one year, we started with a one inch scale Corner Display Box. We could finish the box any
way we wanted. My wife has been an avid collector of Tom Clark Gnomes for years and has been asking me to do a Gnome home for her. The inspiration for this project came from the hardcover book,

Gromes build their homes under a tree. Their home is made up of a large main room.	The fireplace is used for baking, cooking, and heating the great room and the sauna.	The sauna is located up two steeps behind the door next to the fireplace.
	The artwork on the outside of the box are scans from the book of Gnome's. I printed them on transparency sheets. After the artwork dries, they were attached to a heavy weight, marble grained paper with spray adhesive. Note: a light even coat of adhesive is desired. After it is nearly dry the transparency can carefully be joined to the paper, ink side down to adhesive side of paper.
Gromes sleep in these sleeping alcoves. The doors with the hearts are entrance to the alcoves.	Each home also has a celler used to store food and supplies for the long cold winters.	Each home had running water. The door to the left leads to the boot room. The right door leads to the bathroom.
